NEW SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS starting in September - 4th - 6th Grade Chuck and Mary Knight will be teaching.

LITURGICAL DANCE Begins on September 8.  Anyone between 1st and 6th grade is welcome.  (Liturgical Dance is a graceful, spiritual dance performed during Worship Service to enhance the Worship experience.  It is very meaningful to those viewing and to those dancing.)

HAND BELL WORKSHOP - Wednesday September 1 at 5:00. We are short 2 or 3 ringers for our Adult Bell Choir.  If you have the skills to play, it's a fun way to serve God.

YOUTH HAND BELL CHOIR - About 15 years ago, we had a very active youth bell choir.  Several have asked about getting it going again.  If you are 4th grade or older and would like to try it out, please join us for the Workshop on September 1. (See above)

Have you ever wanted to be a published author?  Well now's your chance.  We are now accepting Christmas Stories for the Advent Season.  Stories may be Fiction or Non-Fiction, but please label.  Stories should be no more than 2 typed pages.  If you have the technology and can email the story (sroyal225@aol.com) that would be great but I can retype from a hard copy if need be.  Deadline is Oct. 1.  The stories will appear on our website.  Several asked about printed copies and I have a resource that will print and bind in a 7 x 7 soft cover in color for 12.95 each  plus shipping.  If we order 10 or more we get a 10% discount.  Of course the printing will depend upon the response.  We need 24 or 25 stories.  What a wonderful way to approach Christmas!  I am looking forward to learning about customs and traditions you have experienced. 

The Choirs of the Church are planning a CHRISTMAS CONCERT for December 11 at 7:00 p.m. in our Sanctuary - A Celebraton of the Season - The Christmas Gift.  The concert will include vocal, dance, bells, instrumentalist and some surprises.  So mark your calendar.  The Concert will be followed by desserts and hot drinks in Friendship Hall.  If you like to sing, come and join the Choir.  We would love to have you join us.
