One of the Strangest events in the Bible was told in the book of Exodus - the parting of the Red Sea.  When the Hebrew people were fleeing from Pharoh and the Roman Soldiers, they were blocked by the  Red Sea.  God parted the sea long enough for them to be able to cross safely to the other side. Then the sea closed over the soldiers who were chasing them, causing them to drown.

The red is what the Hebrew writing of the Ten Commandments looked like.  The strange thing about the Hebrew way of writing was that they wrote from the right to left instead of left to right like we do.

 

Find the 10 Commandments in Exodus 30:

1.   You shall have no other gods before me.

2.   You shall not make for yourself an idol

3.   You shall not misuse the name of God

4.   Remember the Sabboth Day by keeping it Holy.

5.   Honor your father and your mother.

6.   You shall not murder

7.   You shall not commit adultry

8.   You shall not steal

9.   You shall not lie about your neighbor

10. You shall not covet (want what others have)
